2008 Report and Accounts

The Board support the principles of good corporate governance and code of best practice set out in the Combined Code and are committed to maintaining sufficient contact with shareholders to ensure we understand their issues and concerns. Within the boundaries of the regulatory environment in which we operate we are also committed to the provision of information to shareholders on the performance of the group and on its procedures and processes.

The following Investor Relations Section provides additional information including a five year summary,  financial calendar, reports, and a section on corporate governance.

Throughout the year the Group Chairman, CEO and FD and where relevant the Chairman of the Remuneration Committee maintain a dialogue with the principal shareholders in order to understand their issues and concerns discussing matters of governance, strategy and remuneration. They are responsible for ensuring shareholders views are communicated to the Board as a whole.
